Organized sport improves a woman's leadership potential and significantly impacts her perception on her ability to lead.

These early perceptions have a profound influence on the life-long participation in physical activity and in the workforce.  Young girls are more compelled to stay involved if they feel connected, capable, and have choice.

Run. Jump. LEAD!’s positive and empowering programs are specifically designed for the physical and social-emotional needs of girls. Our all-female coaching team provides the motivation and skills for our participants to stay active and pursue leadership roles with confidence. Meet our team >>

Our Classes

Our unique program has two components scheduled during each 75 mins class.

  1. Hands-on group leadership training using our customized iLEAD! Notebooks. We learn, discuss, and practice our skills together in a safe and welcoming environment. Every class focuses on a leadership skill or trait that guides our games and activities, such as teamwork, resiliency and public speaking. We may even be asked to practice our negotiating skills on our parents after class!

  2. Age appropriate, fun physical activity. We put the FUN in FUNdamentals! Using a multi-sport approach to teaching physical literacy in-line with the guidelines set forth by Sport for Life Canada, we get girls moving in a fun, supportive atmosphere using games, circuits, and relays to build skills in strength, coordination, speed and agility. Introduction to sports such as volleyball, soccer, floor hockey, basketball, and field hockey are taught using modified, fun, and inclusive methods with a focus on game play.

Each class and session are unique and connected, allowing us to build upon the themes and topics covered in the previous classes. The curriculum is original and unique to Run. Jump. LEAD! and the activities are specifically designed for the physical and social-emotional needs of girls.

Please reach out to run.jump.lead@gmail.com if you would like to see a preview of the leadership themes we'll be covering before registering for a session.
